A Creative Touch has recently been contracted to teach at Higher Education level, including delivering a series of six seminars on collaborative arts practice for the School of Arts and New Media at University of Hull.

Gayle teaches within her own practice,
Zen calligraphy and painting, in which she is honoured to have trained with, Rinzai Master, Professor Terayama Tanchu in Japan. She runs Zen Brushwork sessions across the UK, this has included workshops and talks with the Victoria and Albert Museum and The Royal Academy of the Arts in London. Whilst the majority of her sessions are with adults, she has also taken the practice into primary schools working with pupils aged three years old upwards.

You may also wish to read about the training and development services offered by A Creative Touch, which includes courses, conferences and mentoring support. There is also information on the company's work in schools, such as the facilitation of a group of primary pupils to become a research team examining the use of language within creative processes.

“Thank you again for leading such a marvellous workshop. It was beautifully organised, engaging, and inspiring. I know that the attendees loved it, and I hope that we are able to run another one with you in the future.

It was a pleasure working with you.”

Dr Alison Bracker,
Royal Academy of Arts
